As a website designer and copywriter duo, it’s our responsibility to ensure our work is accessible to everyone and inclusive of all.
We design websites that comply with the WCAG guidelines. This ensures that our web builds are easy to read and navigate, allowing people with temporary and permanent impairments and disabilities to access and enjoy the content on the sites we create.
The language we use on our own site and in our client projects is intentionally inclusive. We strive to make everyone feel welcome by avoiding stereotyping or making assumptions about our audience, and we use clear language and formatting to make our copy as readable and accessible to as many people as possible. We also use gender-inclusive language so that everyone sees themselves reflected in the copy we create.
Wherever possible, we aim to use inclusive stock imagery on our website and in marketing materials, and encourage our clients to do the same.
Inclusivity and sustainability are intrinsically linked, which is why we endeavour to run our business with sustainability in mind.
When booking meetings or planning projects, we will make adjustments for accessibility and always try to be respectful of clients' boundaries and capacity. And we hope they will do the same for us.
We recognise that the work is never done, and we commit to continuing our efforts to ensure our work remains inclusive and in alignment with digital accessibility best practices. We’re always looking for ways to do better, so get in touch if you have any comments or suggestions about our work.
